We've had our cat for 8 months, got her from the shelter. We feed her Iams Ocean Fish & Rice dry food, and Iams chicken canned food. She has runny BMs 97% of the time, and frequent foul-smelling gas. The gas we can put up with, but I'm worried about letting the diarrhea go unchecked. She is otherwise healthy and happy; good weight, good coat, clear eyes, cool wet nose, and she drinks water so there's no dehydration. We can't afford to experiment with fancier foods; should I be worried about her diarrhea?
