I have a 8wk old havanese, that recently was taking to the vet due to being anemic. Now I've noticed that he is having trouble pooping, he pushes and pushes but it wont come out and it looks like it gets stuck on the tip of is anus. Any home remedies I can give him to soften his stool or what can be the problem.

If your puppy was anemic, he was probably given iron. Now I know in humans, iron can make the stool hard and/or constipate. As for softening the stool, I couldn't begin to tell you. Your vet should be able to advise something like that over the phone.
