My chihuahua just started doing this reverse sneeze thing and he is very congested. Per the vet and this web site I started giving him benadryl. He is scaring me half to death. We just got a puppy and he knows that he can turn it on when he wants attention. How long does it take to get them to stop doing this once it starts? Does benadryl help or is there something else that works better?

I have a chichua, beagle mix with a reverse sneeze.
It is getting worse. Can you help. |
