I have an approximately 6 month old Lab/Spitz mix. She went into heat before I was able to get her spayed. Now her heat only lasted 4 days and I think the Red Nosed Pit-Bull Terrior next door got to her. I think she is about 4 weeks pregnant, but I am not sure. How do I know without the ultrasound and what do I do for a pregnant puppy if she is indeed pregnant? I have never had a female dog who was not spayed. I want her to have the puppies for the cost reasons. I am not sure what to expect. Please help if possible. Thank you, Osborn94

Well with a pitt bull and your dog, dont be expecting pretty dogs. I always raised pitts and if there is a female in heat they will find away.. But first heat is not so powerful I mean smell wise but some dogs will go through false pregnancy and there is nothing but usually the first heat there not so attractive, But then again your talking about a pitt.. But it does not cost money and she will do all the work all you have to do is fine good homes for them.. But nature does take its course so just wait it takes 60-90 days to have her little present for you.. No money just love and good homes. then rush her in too that vet.. good luck

If you arent going to take care of your dog and take her to the vet then you dont deserve her anyway
