My female shi tzu is in heat, and I've been trying to keep a very close watch on her, however, today, she ran away when someone opened my front door unexpectedly. I was horrifyed. I chased her for awhile, but she is very fast and she quickly disappeared. My son's friend came home and told me that he saw my dog breeding with a larger breed dog, probably about the size of a border collie. She came home covered in froth, and acting very strangly, so I'm sure some breeding happened. Then the male dog started hanging around my house, and he is much bigger then she is. I'm very panicked. What do I do? What will happen to my tiny dog if she has puppies from a larger breed male? Can someone please give me some advise???
